Roman Kochergin

Solo-Tubist Moscow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra

Roman Kochergin was born in 1970 in Voronezh, Russia. He graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory of Tchaikovsky in 1995 (class of professor Lebedev A. K.).

He cooperated with various orchestras: simfonicheky orchestra of the Moscow academic musical opera and ballet theater of Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko (1991-2008), the Moscow academic symphonic orchestra conducted by P. Kogan (1995-2001), the Moscow symphonic orchestra conducted by V. Ziva (2001-2007).

From 2008 to the present time – Roman Kochergin is the soloist of the Academic symphonic orchestra of the Moscow philharmonic hall conducted by Simonov Yu. Roman actively acts as soloist (accompanied by various ensembles and orchestras) in Moscow, Voronezh, Kostroma, Rostov-on-Don, etc. “Soloists of Russia”, Jury member of various competitions and festivals.

Frequently holding seminars for wind instruments and participates in concerts of Music Brass ensemble conducted by Dmitry Bulkin, concerts of a festival of wind music “Brass Days” conducted by Vladislav Lavrik and is part of a brass ensemble. Roman Kochergin is the winner of the 1st All-Russian festival of tubist of “Tuba World” which has taken place in Rostov-on-Don in December 2009.
