Robert Tucci
Co-designer of B&S "Perantucci" tubas
Since 1960 Robert Tucci has been a member of the Louisville Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, United States Army Field Band, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, orchestra of the State Theatre in Kassel, and from 1972- 2005, orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.
He has performed and toured with the Berlin Philharmonic, Berlin Radio Symphony, Munich Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra of the Bavarian Radio, Hamburg Philharmonic, State Orchestra of Baden Wuerttemberg and Symphony Orchestra of the South German Radio in Stuttgart, symphonic and opera orchestras in Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Augsburg, Ulm, Regensburg, Chemnitz, Innsbruck, Linz, Graz, Zurich, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Geneva, Orchestra of the Arena di Verona, at La Scala in Milan, the Salzburg Festival, The Santa Fiora Festival, with Canadian Brass, Summit Brass as well as other ensembles.
Working together with the manufactures of „B & S“ Perantucci instruments Perantoni and Tucci designed the Perantucci line of brass wind instruments; equipment choice for thousands of brass players worldwide.
Mr. Perantoni also serves as the vice-president of educational matters and a consultant and clinician for Custom Music Company.
